Ray Sweeten
Ray Sweeten's audio origins begin with antiquated tape experiments based on recorded correspondences between his late father and brother. Classically trained, Ray has had an illustrious academic career - having studied and taught with a multitude of esteemed professors and peers. He has released music on the Beige Records imprint and as a member of Tel Aviv on Teen Beat Records. He has also produced interstitial music for MTV Japan and Italy, Benetton, Playlife, Suction Records and Ghostly International. His sound and video work have been screened and performed at The Kitchen, MonkeyTown, New York Underground Film Festival, PS 122 and the Roberta Beck Memorial Cinema. For BAPLab, he is combining his love of audio and visual media for what will certainly be a stunning and moving performance.
