This group of well respected musicians writes rules-based and graphical, often media-based scores for performances and installations. In this two-parts performance, they will approach themes connected to live presence vs. deferred participation, the negotiation of social interactions, and media's role in the creation of the natural environment. What happens in the cultural and relational space of the performance remains one of the points at the core of this project, as are improvisation and score-based repertoire, experimental art practices involving the interaction of sound and image, electroacoustic vs. digital process. A range of specializations are represented by members of the group and synthesized in their collective activities. These include painting, printmaking, photography, filmmaking, graphic design, sculpture, as well as sound composition, performance, installation, and light/image projections.
